Blog post for Learning 2.0

This is my post for the Learning 2.0 module. I actually employ Blogger for my regular blogs, which I prefer to Wordpress. (I went to my blog and there was no easy way to find the login, and so it took me the past 20 minutes to figure out how to get in here and write a post. Very frustrating, and likely due to my own poor design of the blog. But, it’s teh default design, which I didn’t mess with.

I do love CommonCraft - their video of how to tell whether or not someone is a zombie is the funniest ever.

Anyway, I do enjoy blogging, though I wont be using this address to do it. Please visit me over at http://guardienne.blogspot.com for my regular library and academia related postings.

Another Blog is Born

Now, to find something to say…This blog will live here with the rest of the Lupton Library Blogs.

Here, you’ll find running commentary on: work at the reference desk, instruction (preparation, successes and snafus), current projects I’m working on, and any and everything else related to my working hours.

For instance, today we’re meeting about teaching an instruction session on finding sources about sex (well, at least THAT class should be fun, right?).

Also, I need to get cracking on writing a review of The Beginning of Collegiate Education West of the Appalachians, 1795-1833: The Achievement of Dr. Charles Coffin of Greeneville College and East Tennessee College. It’s due December 1st-ish for Tennessee Libraries, and I’ve been carrying it with me; I just haven’t summoned the nerve to actually try and read it just yet. Wish me luck!
