Presidents and Chancellors of the University

The Special Collections request at least a 24 hour notice for information and document retrieval for most items in the University Archives. In some cases documents and information may not be found in the University Archives requiring researchers to go to a specific department on campus for that information.

Note for Researchers: The University Archives contain very little, if any, information pertaining to students and alumni. We have copies of yearbooks (The Moccasin) from 1911 until the last year the University issued one, 1991. There are some holes in our collection, mainly in the early years and during the World War II years, 1941-46. The student newspaper (The Echo) was begun in 1906 and is still published today, on a weekly basis. The Echo website (www.utcecho.com) has provided a searchable database for issues beginning in 2001. The University Archives has both hard copies and microfilmed copies of The Echo.   An index, covering the years 1906-1988, can be found here.
