Annual Library Survey
The Lupton Library will conduct its yearly online survey from mid-March to mid-April 2010. We solicit student, faculty and staff feed-back on the quality and extent of services provided. We strongly encourage your participation and look forward to hearing your thoughts on how the library can better serve your needs. By filling out the survey, you can win an iPod.
The survey will be available at www.lib.utc.edu/survey.

by Theresa Liedtka, Dean of the Library
In July 2009 the Library’s budget was reduced by $100,000, which resulted in the cancellation of 300 active journal subscriptions, a reduction in library building hours, and numerous changes in Library processes to achieve new efficiencies that resulted in monetary savings.
As a result of the decrease in Library hours, students complained throughout the Fall semester about the negative impact the hour change was having on study habits. Theresa Liedtka, Dean of the Library, met with the Student Government Association and individual students about the change in hours. As a result of these meetings and discussions, the Library budget was enhanced by the Provost to expand hours for the Spring semester.
Library Operating Hours are:
| Monday to Thursday: |
7:45am to Midnight |
| Friday: |
7:45am to 5:00pm |
| Saturday: |
1:00pm to 5:00pm |
| Sunday: |
2:00pm to Midnight |
