Lupton Library Lines

So what is a podcast anyway? A podcast is a digital recording made available on the internet for viewing or listening either online or through a personal audio player such as an iPod. Lupton Library is creating short podcasts which cover resources, services and research strategies. Found under the Podcasts and Tutorials link on the library home page, the first set of recordings includes short movies on:

• How to Find a Book
• How to Find an Article
• Scholarly vs. Popular Articles
• An Introduction to Lupton Library

Students can use them to learn basic library skills. Teaching faculty can show the podcasts in their classes to introduce their students to the research process. Visit the library’s website to view them for yourself. While you’re there, use the “subscribe” button to sign up for notifications whenever we post a new video.
